Best of Africa Pitch — NITV Summit x NollywoodWeek Paris 2026

The Best of Africa Pitch is a flagship showcase by the Creative Africa Content Pavilion (CACOP), an initiative of the Nigerian International Film Summit (NIFS), in partnership with NollywoodWeek (NOW!) Film Festival Paris. Five finalists pitch their scripted feature films — in development or completed — directly to leading international broadcasters, buyers, and networks. The event takes place during NITV Summit Paris (May 6–10, 2026), positioned just ahead of the Cannes Film Festival and Marché du Film. Supported by Canal Plus, TransPerfect, the French Embassy in Nigeria, and CINEKITA.

Insider Tips

NIFS has a proven track record — the Best of Africa Pitch at MIP London (Feb 2026) successfully selected 6 projects including work by Daniel Etim Effiong and Emmy-nominated creatives. Paris positioning just before Cannes makes this a strategic launchpad for European market access. The Canal Plus and French Embassy backing signals real distribution pathways into the Francophone market.
