
FINAL CUT IN VENICE
Final Cut in Venice — 14th edition. Post-production workshop for filmmakers from Africa, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen. Up to 6 working-copy films presented to producers, buyers, distributors, and festival programmers during the Venice Production Bridge (6–8 Sept 2026) at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (Lido, 2–12 Sept 2026). La Biennale awards a €10,000 prize to the best film in post-production. Supporters include Cinémathèque Afrique, El Gouna Film Festival, Red Sea Fund, and Rai Cinema.

FREE to submit. If selected: accommodation (4 nights) and director's travel covered.
Format
Feature fiction films and feature arthouse documentary films in post-production (shot but not yet completed). Feature-length works only.
Eligibility
Filmmakers from Africa (all countries) + Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Yemen. Feature films (fiction or documentary) in post-production stage.
What You Get
€10,000 prize for best film; cash + in-kind post-production support; direct buyer/distributor introductions during Venice Production Bridge.
What to Submit
Fill out the Final Cut in Venice Submission Form (available ~10 March 2026). Send working copy materials to finalcut@labiennale.org by 9 June 2026. All in English or with English translation.
