MULTICHOICE TALENT FACTORY (MTF)
The MultiChoice Talent Factory is a pan-African film and television training programme operated by the MultiChoice Group (now Canal+). Three regional academies: West Africa (Lagos), East Africa (Nairobi), Southern Africa (Lusaka). Each takes approximately 20 students per cohort for a fully-sponsored 12-month programme covering directing, producing, cinematography, editing, sound design, and more. Students work on real productions. Despite the Showmax shutdown in March 2026, MTF continues as a separate initiative.
