NollywoodWeek Paris 2026 Unveils First Nigerian Titles and Expands Programme (6–10 May)

NollywoodWeek Paris has revealed the first slate of Nigerian titles for its 2026 edition, running 6–10 May 2026 at cinemas across Paris. The festival is expanding its programme with new industry partnerships that strengthen the market and professional development components.

NollywoodWeek remains the premier showcase for Nigerian cinema in Europe, connecting filmmakers with international audiences, distributors, and co-production partners. Past alumni have gone on to secure international distribution deals and co-production financing through connections made at the festival.

The 2026 edition features an expanded industry programme including pitch sessions, masterclasses, and one-on-one meetings with European buyers and festival programmers. The festival has previously screened films including Judy Kibinge's supernatural folk thriller "Goat" (confirmed for European premiere), alongside established and emerging Nollywood titles.

Founded in 2013 by Serge Noukoué, NollywoodWeek has grown from a single-venue screening event to a multi-day festival and market that serves as a crucial bridge between the Nigerian film industry and European audiences and professionals.
